Description:
Abstract: Idaho and the 6 states of the United States that border Idaho are depicted as polygons features with the state name as an attribute.
Purpose:
This SDE layer was developed for use in ArcIMS Image Map Services. A minimum number of attributes were retained to enhance preformance of the Internet application. This layer provides a reference and cartographic layer that makes it easy to identify areas on other feature layers.
Supplemental Information: Source data are from ESRI Data & Maps 1 (CD) that is provided with ArcView.

Selected Idaho and the states that border it.
Created a new shapefile (Theme > Convert to Shapefile)
Deleted all attributes except state name
Projected to IDTM using the ArcView Projection Wizard.
Exported the data to an SDE database using the Export > Shapefile to Geodatabase option in ArcCatalog 8.1. All defaults were used.
